What is fresh coffee?
Is it pre-packaged, sealed in a can, and stored on a shelf until it is advertised enough to sell? Is it sitting in whole bean bins at your local grocer for weeks, promising you truely fresh coffee?
The truth is, coffee is freshest, and tastes the best, when it is brewed within 2 weeks of being roasted. Although coffee can still be brewed a month or two after roasting, it does not have the same brightness and clean taste. Coffee becomes stale when the surface area of the bean is exposed to air.
